The Universal’s wet strength tester is used for measuring the initial wet strength & elongation. This instrument is used for measuring the maximum tensile force per unit width that a wet test piece, made from a pulp under specified conditions, will stand before breaking in a tensile test. It measures the initial wet web strength and elongation of newsprint strip or pulp.

Digital display with automatic return after rupture.

Clamping length 50 & 100 mm, Max. stroke 30 mm.

Deformation speed 1.5 ± 0.1 mm/sec. Measuring range 0-19.999 N.
